Boy the things you learn..so Ellen Ratner, the news reporter that Thom has on his show daily, talks about the undue influence of billionaires like the Koch brothers. Now the Koch brothers have megabillions; I am prefacing here. But, as it turns out, Ellen's brother Bruce, is a real estate billionaire tycoon whose family started a dynasty of wealth from scratch. However, he is a major lobby money contributor and it also now makes sense how Ellen is so connected. It's ALL corporate, so now I've peeled away another layer of green money that drives the media world. I'm sure I'll get attacked here..whatever. I just find it funny that she reports on all this undue corporate influence when her own brother who she does work with, is seemingly one of those people that has their money and influence on many important institutions.
