Daily Kos of which I am a member is pulling a fast one in this Governors race..notice Chris Bowers comments in his email asking for member support...he dumps Teachout and doesn't endorse her but only Wu...send Markos Malitsas, the owner of Daily Kos and Chris Bowers a message by posting on the diaries to tonight protesting their decision to back Wu but not Teachout. There is no good, progressive reason not to endorse Teachout, whether you think she will prevail or not...the Governor has lost the backing of Tompkins County and many other progressives in NY State, and they would, like myself, have lost confidence in him at this point.

Why is Cuomo freaking out over the Lieutenant Governor’s race?
Gov. Andrew Cuomo was partly responsible for this “coup” in the Senate, because he doesn’t want too much progressive legislation to complicate his presidential ambitions. And it gets worse. His hand-picked choice for Lieutenant Governor is Kathy Hochul, an ex-Congresswoman with a pro-NRA, anti-immigrant and anti-environmental record.
Daily Kos has endorsed Tim Wu—a solid progressive who is running on a ticket with gubernatorial challenger Zephyr Teachout, and would be a thorn in Cuomo’s side.
Cuomo is freaked out that Wu (who has the New York Times endorsement) could win, so he’s threatening to block pet projects for Democrats who might endorse him.
Please get out and vote for Tim Wu.
I live upstate in Rochester, so my plan is to vote for Tim Wu tomorrow over my lunch break.
