Sorry...they are making this seem like someone died. He lied. Period. Rachel Maddow says its a grey area when someone like Brian lies when it's about himself and not the news..she is so wrong. This was a news story that he twisted to make himself out to be a hero. There is no grey area..if a politician lies about their personal life, there is no grey area.
Btw...in front of an entire stadium of basketball fans, this fake story was repeated AGAiN! So the panel on Lawrence's show is misleading when they said they didn't know what other entities there were on this lie...let's be clear, journalists are all up in arms when journalists they like have egg on their face, but if it's the other side of the aisle politically, there's no mercy.
Btw...I'm a liberal. So you can't attack me as a right wing detractor..in fact, I try to stay on the side of truth even when it's ugly.
Lastly...did Jon Stewart leave the Daily Show because of an impending scandal? Guess we'll find out. Maybe he's just taking a different job.
