I'm not actually calling the people I'm referring to here in this post as actual lion hunters, but they are grossly watered down versions of the mentality behind people who are either on their own or with the help of others, lying in wait to attack and trying to stay as 'innocent-looking' as possible in the process. So please, try to avoid the OCD-like tendency by some here to attack purely on my choice of metaphor.
To the point now; there are multitudes of people in the media both official reporters on t.v., radio, newspaper and bloggers who either by themselves or company supported, are total Hillary pumpers. Some have either blown off Senator Sanders, some just pump Hillary every chance they get, and some now, like Chuck Todd, twist words to try to discredit Sanders.
Thom Hartmann gave one example in his show today on whether Bernie 'apologized' for not getting in touch with Black Lives Matter sooner; his staffer apologized and Bernie said he was not apologizing and that he is talking to many groups as he can get to them time-wise. Chuck, please, you are only bolstering support for him as we know your agenda. Secondly, the front page of USA Today had an article titled 'Biden threat to Clinton campaign' by Susan Page. Obviously she's a Hillary supporter because she knows full well from the recent polls that Bernie is ahead and holding his own against her. She did the old wag the dog routine and substituted Biden for Bernie. Give us a break Susan; Thom should call her out on that tomorrow in my opinion.
Thom should scour the headlines and find all the instances of these Hillary pumps and show just how willing 'objective' reporters are willing to sell out for her campaign and others. The same kind of thing is going on with Trump and others. If it is a non-news show t.v. or radio, that's fine. When reporters are supposed to be reporting the news however, they need to stick to objectivity if they have any sense of professionalism in my opinion.
