Student Loans

For many, student loans and their payback can be a life-changing experience. For some, it can even result in bankruptcy. This is why I am proposing a Federal 3% cap on all college student loans, whether subsidized or not by the Federal government and extending to graduate student loan programs which can be 8+% or greater. Wall Street backed Senator Gillibrand will never write such a bill and pound the podium so to speak as she did for Don't Ask Don't Tell because her Wall Street donor crowd will massively disapprove. Nevertheless, I am proposing it and even if she jumped on the bandwagon, it would be pandering. I am a Democrat who will run as an Independent and also not take any funny money to run.Check out my web site..you can throw barbs if you're a Gillibrand follower but you can't deny this is what is good for our country and kids in college. We can pay for this with a military cut like pulling the contractors out of Iraq.
