Let's be objective
1) Is a progressive candidate or incumbent considered progressive if they receive PAC money from Gas, Oil and Fracking companies? Senator Gillibrand did.
2) Is a progressive candidate or incumbent considered progressive if they promote nuclear power plant building in their state to create jobs? Senator Gillibrand did.
3) Is a progressive candidate or incumbent considered progressive if they accept large amounts of Commercial Bank Lobby money and money from the President of S&P for example? Senator Gillibrand did.
You can throw barbs, but how exactly are you backing a progressive when they have all of the above and have never, since being in Congress, written a jobs bill that ever made it out of Committee?
Please do tell me YOUR versions of what progressive means.
I am for bringing back Glass-Steagall. She is not.
I am for writing a better Senate bill amending the Constitution to ban corporate personhood as well as Victory funds. She has not.
I am for rversing the extension of the Bush Tax cuts that she voted for and increasing dividend taxes on the rich (over $250,000 per year in dividends)..she has not written that.
I am for my own jobs bill in my own web site that I wrote!
I am for removing pre-existing conditions for adult dentistry which is NOT included in the affordable care act!
I am for capping the interest rate on all student loans and paying for it by a military budget cut!
Throw the barbs! It's silly really...............................
